Happy to Interact with Dr Subramanian Swami jee at Second Session of #LetsTalkGovernance on 15th October 2013

Meeting Dr Subramanian Swamy jee, former Union Cabinet Minister and Alumni of Harvard University is a dream comes true for me.  I was so happy to know that Second in Series of #LetsTalkGovernance will be held on 15th October 2013, 4 pm at the BJP Central Office, 11 Ashoka Road, New Delhi.  I extend my leave application from the University to attend the event. These series of interactions aims to present position papers on governance issues to the people at the highest level of political process.

Shri Vinit jee is making a buzz in the governance by making a platform where professionals   have their voice in making a good governance. His philosophy is “You Talk, We Listen” is helping and encouraging citizen of the Country to speak out at #LetsTalkGovernance.

When I know Swamy jee is gracing the Event, I remember his famous lines, “According to me, India is at the crossroads of destiny today: Either we take the path to break out of shackles acquired from a millennium of occupation of the nation by foreign religion-driven invaders, and cemented by Nehru and his successor-clones as Prime Ministers, or we continue tread on the road to further assimilate these shackles in our mindset and ultimately again surrender to our foreign tormentors.”

Dr Swami jee is famous for his stands on exposing corrupt Congress government, particularly, Gandhi family. I have been reading various articles of Dr Swami on National Identity, Foreign Policy with China and Terrorism and National Security.  He is the founder and chairperson of Action Committee Against Corruption in India (ACACI). In fact, “Congress Mukt Bharat” or “Corruption Mukt Bharat” is his slogan.  He is India’s most popular tweeters and I am one of his followers.

I am thankful to Shri Vinit Goenka jee, National Co-Convenor Information Technology Cell of BJP for taking up such innovative ideas of listening to our ideas in shaping Country’s future. The first session of the Series was a successful event where IT professionals and Mangement Gurus present Position papers. Really those papers, if implemented by the government will surely bring Good Governance. Using Technology in Good Governance is what Shri Vinit jee wants to inform the people. Instead of going to Government, the government must go to people is the sign of having people friendly government.

BJP is the only Political Party which is organising such events. I wish having #LetsTalkGovernance in different cities will facilitate people’s participatory in Nation building. The first event on 9th October attracted more than 100 participants and I am sure the second session on 15th October 2013 will have more active participations.  Please share this event  to shape the future of our Country.
